  Overview of scholarly research/creative activity:  Our lab is working in the area of medicinal chemistry of cell-penetrating peptide. We are interested in siRNA delivery and drug development using cell-penetrating peptides. 
  
  Specific projects working on:  siRNA delivery using polyarginine peptides. 
  Cell-penetrating peptides for infectious diseases. 
  
  Number of students looking to work with: 1 to 2
  
  Time commitment for students:  Meet twice/week expected around total of 8-10 hours/week
  
  When students are needed: Fall 2021, Interterm, Spring, and Summer 2022
  
  Requirements for students who work with you:  Have passion and interest in RESARCH. Chemistry knowledge will be helpful.
  
  What would students be expected to do​​​​​​: Lab experiments, literature research/summary, and shadowing senior graduate student
