Petra Divac Biography
My name is Petra and I am currently a senior at Chapman University. I am an English literature major, and I am double majoring in Art with an emphasis in photography, and art history. While at Chapman I have taken a variety of art classes to be able to narrow down what I would like to study and I have found myself most oriented toward photography, being able to capture a moment in time, the emotion of the subjects in the image or a feeling of a place. Likewise I have always wondered why art is the way it is today. In order to answer my own question I had to go and start from the beginning, which is why I study art history. Throughout my four years at Chapman I have now decided to combine my knowledge of the two topics and see where it takes me.
