I am a junior History major with Women's Studies and Law, Justice, and Social Control minors. Throughout my life, I grew up going to art museums and learning about the many great artists, but as I grew older, I began to question why there were hardly any famous women. I became passionate in learning more about women's history, and learning about the history behind why there aren't many great women artists is another aspect of women's history I never thought of studying. Now that I have, I am very glad that I was able to become more aware of the continuous struggles women in the art industry faced to become successful. I hope to continue my education in history and women's studies in London after graduating from Chapman University and use the knowledge I have gained here to help promote social equity for all.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, the beach, hiking, and being with my dog Rey. (Yes, she is named after a Star Wars character!)
