Overview of scholarly research/creative activity:  Research in the C.A.R.E. Lab focuses on genetic and environmental influences on mental and physical health. Dr. Robinette examines people's health in relation to their neighborhood features and whether some people are more susceptible to neighborhood features than others.

Specific projects working on:  Student projects involve studies investigating whether health-promoting behaviors and social support offset genetic risk for mental and physical health problems such as cardiovascular disease and depression.
