Overview of scholarly research/creative activity:  My primary research interests focus on the design, development, and evaluation of interactive technology to support the development of children and individuals with disabilities. I have experience in human-computer interaction with a specific focus on interactive surfaces and educational and therapeutic interventions for children.

Specific projects working on:
Supporting self-regulation using wearable technology

In this project, we would like to explore how to design and develop smartwatch applications to support the mood and behavior of people who struggle with self-regulation using the physiological data available on the smartwatch.
Voice assistant to support child communication skills
In this project, we would like to explore the design and development of voice assistant applications to support children's oral fluency and help them understand the concepts that underpin literacy and literature.
Using deformable and tangible displays
In this project, we would like to explore how the novel interaction techniques from deformable displays and other input mechanisms can support wellbeing and healthcare.
