Dr. Aharonov has received numerous awards, including the President's National Medal of Science, which was awarded to Dr. Aharonov in 2010. Visitors can view a replica of the medal in the alcove, along with other items from Dr. Aharonov's collections on display. This alcove is accessible to all, constantly reminding those who occupy the space to stay diligent and work towards their aspirations.
