Tomlinson, a former Chapman Board of Governors member and former Leatherby Libraries Board member, had a lifelong passion for collecting antique toys. Tomilson generously donated over 100 toys from the Victorian era and early 20th century for this exhibit, including pedal-powered toys, image projectors, clockwork vehicles, construction sets, battery-operated toys, train sets, and more. With toys from the past two centuries, this exhibit highlights the importance of preservation and how toys can act as snapshots into the history of popular culture.
