Allie Chow
I'm a senior Global Communication student from Sacramento, CA. I'm interested in photography and am hoping to work for a print magazine, such as Dazed or Aperture, in the future. I'm interested in this class, Black Subjects in White Art History, because I want to learn more about the influence Black people have had within art history. I also think it's important to acknowledge how Black culture and bodies have been appropriated to benefit white art history and I hope to become more knowledgable about these things through this class.
