  In this podcast, I spoke about one of the most controversial African American artist of the Neo-expressionism era, Kara Elizabeth Walker. She is a contemporary painter, filmmaker and installation artist who focuses on the race, gender, sexuality and violence in her work. She is famous for her collaged silhouettes plastered on a blank white wall. One of her best panoramic silhouettes would be Gone: An Historical Romace Of The Civil War As It Occurred Between The Dusky Thighs of Young Negress and Her Heart from 1994 which is the main topic of the podcast.
