Assess Scope of Work

It is important to know the amount of work involved so that you can make a plan and delegate work to complete by the deadline. Even if you don't have all the details, you can use the information that you already have, think of possible scenarios, and put it all together for a plan that will likely change throughout the process.

With our change in services, we were given a ballpark timeframe and general overview of what was happening and what needed to be done. We made a list of all the tasks/work that could possibly be involved:We added to the list as we thought of new tasks and as more information was provided. We then started to create a plan around those tasks.

Now that you know what work will be involved, you can start to prioritize.
