Danni Malinski's 13th Infographics

In Ava Duvernay’s film, 13th, viewers learn how systemic racism has affected the lives of African Americans throughout history and how it continues to be a relevant issue in our country today. While this documentary was released several years ago in 2016, its themes and statistics continue to communicate the injustice of America’s treatment of Black people throughout its history. The following infographics are meant to convey information found within the documentary to a wider audience while relating the statistics to visual representations in order to enhance the viewer’s understanding.
