Incarceration Camps Close
Finally, roughly four years since you first step foot in Mazanar, you hear that the camp is going to close soon. World War II has ended and Japanese Americans are no longer considered enemy aliens. You are told that you will be given $25 and a bus ticket to wherever you'd like to go. After being away for so long, it is hard to imagine how you will be able to return to normal American life.
