Finally, roughly four years since you were incarcerated, you hear that the camps are going to close soon. World War II has ended and Japanese Americans are no longer considered enemy aliens.

You are told that you will be given $25 and a bus ticket to wherever you'd like to go. After being away for so long, it is hard to imagine how you will be able to return to normal American life.
