Images and Imaginings of Internment: Comics and Illustrations of Camp

Comics after Camp

Over the last decade the world of graphic novels have embraced the topic of the Japanese American incarceration.
George Takei's They Called Us Enemy, Frank Abe's We Hereby Refuse: Japanese American Resistance to Wartime Incarceration, J. Torres David Namisato's Stealing Home, and Kiku Hughes' Displacement are just a few of the new arrivals that discuss this history.

IN addition, Laura Atkins and Stan Yogi's Fred Korematsu Spaek's Up and other young adult readers are added to this list.
