This educational platform is intended to introduce audiences to everyday life in the incarceration camps, and some of its history. Still little is known about the WWII incarceration campus in US history courses and discussions. President Ronald Reagan’s 1988 Civil Liberties Act allocates a public education fund in California to educate students about this history, which includes Jeanne Wakatsuki Houston’s novel Farewell to Manzanar in its curriculum.
