My interest in art history and photo history started last summer. I took an online class about classical art history. I loved learning about the social aspects that went into the creation of art. How things like politics, religion and social trends contributed to the style of art. This leads over into photo history. Photos capture history. They allow us to see the fashion, culture and environment of the time period. It is almost like time travel. Through pictures we travel back in time. Every photo tells a story and I love learning about them!
