My name is Silva Gyuloglyan and I am a senior at Chapman University majoring in Applied Human Physiology. I grew up in Thousand Oaks, CA where I attended Westlake High School and Moorpark Community College before coming to Chapman. My interest in art began in high school when I took AP Art History. After that I began taking more and more art history classes in college. After I transferred to chapman, I chose my "cluster" to be the modern experience which included a lot of art history classes. However, my background in photo history is very limited because all the classes that I had taken were to do with paintings, sculptures and structures. I am looking forward to learning more about photo history this coming semester and being able to understand more about the photography technology that we use to this day.
